this made me laugh

April 27, 2009

haven’t laughed this hard in a while… I wonder how many groin injuries they have… lol

So in the endless amount of time since I last wrote, many things have happened.  I went to Maryland, saw the movie Australia, shadowed a high school teacher, and the swine flu arrived in New York (to name a few).

I went paintballing at Headrush in Syracuse a few weeks ago.  One kid got blasted in the back from three feet away.  It looked like he got shot.  My friend has been driving me crazy lately.  He is obsessed with Celtic music and has been trying to convince me to like it.  I can’t stand narrow minded people!

I finished Mass Effect and am convinced its one of the best games ever made.  I’m can’t wait or the sequel.

Musically I still love the National.  Also I listen to Dream Theater, Coheed and Cambria, and The Killers.

Well… last night My friends spent the night and we got two hours of sleep.  Tomorow is school so I have to go now.

I’ll be updating soon!

Break… yeehaw…

April 9, 2009

Hey,

So today i began my spring break.  I have one week off from school and it is looking pretty chill.  Tomorow I leave for Baltimore with my brother and mom.  It will be fun (hopefully) but I’ll be lucky if I can make it through the 3 days of visiting my relatives without getting a peptalk on something stupid. The highlight of my spring break will probobly be paintballing (if I can go).

Today in school we had another assembly…  This one was about perseverence and featured kids in my school who display perseverence.  It was pretty good but most of it felt pretty corny and set-up.

the rest of my school year looks really boring.  the only light at the end of my tunnel is my trip to washington that I will be taking in May.  Hopefully it will be pretty amazing.

I’m still enjoying Mass Effect (although my brother’s sudden interest has limited my playing time drastically).  Also I have been playing COD4 live alot lately.

As for music, I have been focusing on past interests.  Joy Wants Eternity struck my fancy yesterday so i have listened to them a little.  Also I’ve been listening to coldplay.

I’m back

April 7, 2009

Hey, sorry for the long wait…  The past week has been hectic.

I had drumline championships last Sunday (We placed first of three although are competition was pathetic), my grandmother had her 95th birthday party, and I’ve generally been my apathetic self.

Today in school we had a debate on abortion, stem cells, and man’s place in the “circle of life” (think the lion king…).  My excessively liberal teacher and all but one of my classmates defended abortion for the usual nonsense reasons.  I had moments of satisfaction though as me and my fellow conservative friend ripped apart a classmate for saying we were rascist for not liking Obama… ahh sweet victory.  i will say my Biology teacher is the most spiritual science teacher I have ever had.  she commended me and my classmate for having the bravery to stand up for our religious views.

Also in school we are watching the second worst movie of all time: National Treasure 2 (second only to Eragon).

I’m currently digging the video game Mass Effect.  Honestly it has to be the second best game for the Xbox 360.

Songs I’m listening to are: Down with the Sickness by Disturbia and Romantic rights by Death from Above 1979.

P.S. Absolutely PSCHYKED about the new trailer for COD6.  I’m downloading it in HD on my xbox as we speak (GO INFINITY WARD)
